It was kind of surreal to get vaccinated today in the U of T Mississauga RAWC (the same spot where I wrote so many exams during undergrad). Thanks Trillium Health Partners for such a smooth experience and thanks to the Mississauga Fire firefighter who was so understanding of my fear of needles!!

Dir of Science & Research Neil spoke today before the Senate of Canada on Bill C224, which would create a national framework for preventing and treating cancer in fire fighters. We're devoted to making the job safer for today's fire fighters and the generations to follow.

BREAKING! In a late night agreement #BillC224 - An Act to establish a national framework for the prevention and treatment of cancers linked to firefighting - has passed 3rd Reading in the Senate unamended and will become law! Royal Assent will occur in the coming days.
