Hi to Call the Midwife fans - I have a timeline question. What year was series one if we’re now in 1971? I thought it started in the late 40s but that feels like Famous Five levels of year-spanning.

These new episodes of Call the Midwife feel properly important - real stakes, real development. That scene between Sheelagh and Beryl was perfect.

Watching #TheBogeyman (based on the book by Stephen King ) / halfway through and, now and then, I think, “I’ve seen this already… I think” which can’t be a glowing endorsement.

What's so notable about this clip is that this is primetime kids tv and it's a 5 minute scene of talk free, effects free, distraction free construction of a piece of art to a classical music soundtrack. This is what kids TV was. It's like viewing a lost world.

A therapist once told me: The first sign of declining mental health isn't always a panic attack or sudden tears. It starts quietly.Waking up tired after hours of sleep.Gut issues. Low energy. Feeling lost. Struggling to fall asleep.Forgetting things. Hair loss. Skin flare-ups.

Loving the #TheTransformersTheMovie chatter today BUT should I be getting excited about FINALLY seeing it in the cinema in Northern Ireland?

I am fully onboard all the hype for TFTM’s 40th anniversary to the point where I have preordered Shockwave and Kranix - what a time to be alive!
