Hi to Call the Midwife fans - I have a timeline question. What year was series one if we’re now in 1971? I thought it started in the late 40s but that feels like Famous Five levels of year-spanning.

What's so notable about this clip is that this is primetime kids tv and it's a 5 minute scene of talk free, effects free, distraction free construction of a piece of art to a classical music soundtrack. This is what kids TV was. It's like viewing a lost world.
