One person is deceased after the shooting at NH Hospital. The shooter, who is also deceased, was immediately engaged by a State Trooper assigned to the hospital. Investigators are working to confirm the ID of the shooter. The name of the victim is being withheld at this time.

At #nh911, we can talk callers through emergencies even after alerting the responding agency. Call-takers can stay in contact both with callers and dispatch so that they can both provide instructions and enable the first responders on their way to receive updated information.

We are aware of ongoing cellular network outages reported nationwide. Cellphone users are still successfully reaching #NH911, and we have received no reports that wireless callers have been unable to get through to NH 911 due to the outage at this time.

Today we hosted an event to formally introduce Winni, the Division's comfort dog! Leadership from NH Dept. of Safety, #NH911, Hero Pups, and AT&T came together to celebrate this special occasion. It was amazing to see Winni in action, bringing smiles to all of our staff and guests.
