This has been a semester full of field work! Last week we went out to survey some restored sites in Galveston Bay with and without erosion-control structures to learn if they have any effects on the salt marsh and we headed to Anahuac National Wildlife Refuge

Before the true experiment takes off, we sometimes have to work out the kinks in our methods! 🤔📝 MarissaJPalmer and I collected some Spartina and infauna to test out my mesocosm set up. With help from Katie St. Clair we hope to simulate continuous semi-diurnal tides here!🌊🌾
