“THERE WILL BE A SH*T SHOW IN BROADVIEW TODAY.” That’s what the Village of Broadview says they were told by Homeland Security in a verbal comment. They sent out this press release this morning. We will be monitoring conditions throughout the day.

Thousands of people have gathered in Grant Park in Chicago for the “No Kings” protest and march. Many families are here including a 107 year old who is begging for change from the Trump Administration aid Op Midway Blitz. That march will cause street closures downtown/the Loop.

Dozens of friends and family showed up in honor of Armani Floyd (14) tonight. He was shot and killed Friday night in the Loop after 7 others were shot near the Chicago Theater. His dad is also a violence prevention activist in the city. CBS Chicago

TERRIFYING SCENE ON THE KENNEDY TONIGHT. This was near the inbound Harlem exit. A massive fire with quite a few cars. The smoke and flames were seen about a mile back, and fire crews were on scene. Hope everyone is ok, but this fire engulfed a wide area. CBS Chicago

Hail coming down in the loop right now. We’ve had reports of golf ball sized hail in the western suburbs. Some even larger in other areas.

A GAS STATION SHREDDED - just some of the damage off US Highway 41 in Newton Co/Village Lake, IN. I saw a dollar store also had its siding twisted up and there is no power for MILES. A lot of damage to assess come sunlight but looks like a possible tornado tore through here.

PACKED TO THE BRIM Joliet City Council meeting tonight. They are set to vote on a proposed data center, the largest in the state, that would go near the Chicagoland Speedway. Many here holding signs that say “NO DATA CENTER”.
