Your teams will never properly understand their capacity (nor be predictable) in a push environment. Pull is the way to go for so many reasons.

Your annual reminder that #Sevilla spent about €30M to build 80 kilometers of separated bicycle infrastructure in only 18 months, and the share of trips made by bicycle in that city rose from 0.5% to over 10% (close to 100K trips per day). #ClimateChange #cplan

24 hours away for work. 3 different people asked me who was watching my kids. All of them expressed surprise when I said my husband. Welcome to 2020 folks. Different year, same BS.

I have a feeling a lot of meetings are about to have kids running around in the background and honestly this is my heaven. Bring your babies, dogs, cats, birds, curmudgeonly teenagers — I’m happy to see them all. It’s like a take your household to work day.

Stop obsessing over eng velocity/efficiency. If you're like most orgs, 70-90% of what you're building has no impact and is just incurring net loss. Improving your product management processes will yield far bigger benefits. #prodmgmt #velocity

Wonderful to see that excited smile. 8 times a finalist, finally the winner! Congratulations Serko! So very well deserved and a wonderful acceptance speech! #htanz

Calling your Product Managers something else may solve some issues in the short term, but it's just going to prevent you from hiring great people in the long term. Anyone who says titles are not important is either trying to screw over someone or in a very privileged position.

Lockdown reading arrived just in time this week! Can’t wait @loomista! Hopefully it will help with the lost art of product management in banking... 🙂

Thanks Anthony Marter for sharing, great article. Sadly, discovery and validation phases are too often skipped by Product Owners due to wrong setup, prescriptive process or lack of coaching medium.com/serious-scrum/…

Lars Böhnke 🚀 Melissa Perri For delivery, it is. The primary measure of progress for a software _project_ is working software. Progress for a _product_ in the market is sales, use, license renewals, etc. Building software that’s not used, isn’t progress. Or, more concisely: velocity isn’t value.
