David Roth-Lindberg Yemen is very poor but beautiful with some of the most stunning architecture. The poorer the person the more generous and hospitality is paramount. Outside interference and corruption ruined the politics. Everyone is armed but so never once felt threatened

David Roth-Lindberg Good post. I loved ten years in Yemen and know many of the factions and tribes. Nuance is not something out media understand as most just parrot from the same sources. I also worked with the UK gov and the IS. The US do have proxies and spend billions on them.
