New day, new speech error: Idly listening to a song to point out its key changes. My brother asks: "who sings that?" I say "*Brownstone" (I meant Bruno Mars, but I'm also texting about an NYC apartment in a Brownstone. both things are on my mind, begin with Br- and are 2 words)

More speech errors, "[...] because rats eat mice. And *rice ..." (Pause) The intonation here indicated that I meant to say mice not *rice unclear whether the error is lexical or phonological: Lex: "Eat" must've facilitated the *rice error, Phon: *rice is a mix of rats and mice

Today in "how creative and obscurely can we coerce words into Arabic templates" Apparently a new verb (to text via WhatsApp) is وتّس قاعد يوتّسها بالليل

This week in "The Major Language Forgotten by all Script Codes" A pro-google translate mayor ad, and a not even Google translate internet cafe, because besides Arabic, at least кофе should've turned out right

Interesting that Google docs autocorrects a transliteration of Levantine Arabic now. Doubly interesting that it corrects the word Lebanon (lebnen) to a non-lebanese transliteration of it (even though it's technically right for this song)
