祖母が入院予定なのでお見舞い行こうと、その病院の入院のしおり読んでたら、生花の持ち込みNGになってた！ 免疫や体力が低下している患者さまにとって、アレルギーや感染の原因になることがあるんだって。 TVとかだと綺麗なお花もって枕元を明るく～💐みたいなシーンをよく見るから勉強になった✍️

I'm so glad I make it a habit of asking people, "Do you do hugs?" before I hug them because for the first time in a while, the other person I met for the first time said, "Sorry, no." Not everyone likes physical touch, especially from someone you don't know well and that is ok.

I don't know if this reaches some of my group therapy mates who was just in #Betterhelp 's group therapy for adult children with #estrangedparents, but you all are wonderful and you are my soul siblings 🫂

My most shameful moment of 2024 was forgetting the word, "knit" when a 10th grade student I was tutoring English to asked me, "How do you say 編む in English?" 🤦🏻‍♀️ A positive look at this is I haven't felt too much shame this year so far.
