Soldier-architects Maria and Kazimierz Piechotka wed #OTD in a ruined church during the #WarsawUprising, #PW1944. They had no rings then, nor throughout the 65 years they were married, during which they helped rebuild Warsaw and documented Poland's destroyed wooden synagogues.
