Last week, we presented our initial work on using reinforcement learning for informative path planning — Learning How to Learn Bathymetry — at @AUV2020. Now we're shifting our focus to learning from demonstrations. youtu.be/tVFFRhG2ZnU

This figure shows measurements collected by Kaprifol, our SeaExplorer Glider underwater vehicle, over 3 weeks in the Bonrholm Basin. The brighter colors show increasing amounts of chlorophyll, a pigment found in microscopic algae called phytoplankton, in the shallow waters.

VOTO mission is to conduct, support and promote research, education and communication regarding the sea! This can’t be achieved by individuals. There is a strong team of leaders, technicians, scientists and pilots behind it who I finally met this week. I’m proud to be part of it!
