Had to squash the urge to go back and change the beginning of my story, but the effort paid off. 900 more words, and I can sort of see the finish line.

1000 more words, up to 6700 now. Already past my word target, so there will be cutting. There's always cutting.

700 more words and I think one session left to complete the first draft of this puppy. Tomorrow is the day!

First draft completed! 900 words today, 8400 over a 10 days writing streak. Time to let it rest for a bit, while I go back to editing some older work starting tomorrow.

Turns out this week I have to work on my homebrew D&D campaign, otherwise my players would just stare at the walls of the temple they are holed in for the entire session. Also need to keep making inroads on the switch from Fantasy Grounds to Foundry Virtual Tabletop

Watched Inception with the girls last night. We had to pause it many times to explain things, but the reaction was priceless. Blown away, too stressed to deal and satisfied exhaustion all applied. I think they may be ready for Memento.
