Failing to remove snow/ice from the roof of your vehicle could cause injury or death to someone following you or cause a collision if it were to blow off. Failure to do so could result in charges. One of the many things we watch for on a daily basis while keeping our roads safe.

To reiterate Cst McKay’s message earlier, the roads are extremely poor and very slippery. Snow and now rain are making roads worse. Drive with extreme care and slow going. Plows are out but many side roads are still not plowed.

Please slow down and obey the posted limit. If 5 km/h makes a difference, imagine higher speeds. This also applies even more during cold/wet/snow pack and icy roads youtu.be/WjvVbXDy20w
