As of this evening, Italy has 41,000 people with the virus and has suffered 3405 deaths, while Germany has 14,000 cases and has lost 43 people. To explain this disparity is vital.

I would really like our TV channels, who are rightly devoting hours and hours of coverage to the coronavirus would do some proper reporting on this. How have the Germans lost so few people so far compared to others?
