Excited to announce that The Ocean Cleanup is massively scaling up Interceptor projects in the coming years! ✅30 Cities. ✅Stopping up to 1/3rd of all plastic pollution flowing out of rivers globally. ✅All by 2030.

#shearing day. Big team effort. 3 shearers. Rach and Kirree filling pens and wrapping wool. Dad and I outside keeping 5 mobs of ewes coming and going. We shed off the lambs on the way into the barn to keep them out of the way. Long hot day but always good to have the #wool off

We put shavings down when we’re working in the sheep pens to keep lambs clean. Coco snuck in while we went to get another mob of lambs; he thought it looked perfect for rolling in!

Alouette the #donkey #foal is 2 weeks old now. She’s incredibly friendly, cheeky and inquisitive. Had to move her from the exit gate in case a ewe knocked her over. She’s probably not even 15kg yet

#isleofman at its finest today. Perfect weather for welcoming FWAG Association visitors from all over the UK to our farm, on island for the presentation of the Silver Lapwing award for #conservation within commercial #farming

Some huge sets of twins now. This group are 11-12 weeks old and ready to wean. The ewes will be glad of a rest, they’ve done a great job.

We graze this rocky bank hard all winter; it’s one of our driest bale feeding sites. From late March to October it’s rested. Collecting yellow rattle seed to sow elsewhere. Huge #orchids. #farmingwithnature

It baffles me that anyone could come in here with a strimmer 🤷🏼‍♀️ In October after everything has gone to seed maybe. But not July whilst plants are still flowering. Perhaps Manx Wildlife Trust could give ManxNationalHeritage some guidance? 3/3

We’ve loved checking the lambs on the herbal ley this weeks. A sea of blue, flowering chicory. Photos don’t do it justice. Also red and white clover and birds foot trefoil. Lambs, bees, butterflies and ladybirds thriving on it
