I find this man so impressive I do not have the words to express it. He's gone through unimaginable tragedy this week and yet he is the model of journalistic composure and professionalism. I've never seen anything like it.

The barbaric, depraved assault by Hamas on Oct 7 does not in any way excuse what is happening in Gaza now . Even if a third of the 17,000 + dead are combatants, two innocent lives for each Hamas fighter is not acceptable . This assault needs to end now .
