FDA grants accelerated approval for Wegovy (semaglutide 2.4 mg) in adults with MASH (F2–F3 fibrosis). First GLP-1 with a liver disease indication. Based on ESSENCE part 1: 36.8% fibrosis improvement vs 22.4% placebo, 62.9% MASH resolution vs 34.3%.
