Led my first meeting as a Project Manager today and the National Sales Manager said I did well 😭 it’s the first time I’ve presented or led anything in a while and I honestly relied so much on my teaching skills. There is hope outside of academia!

Today in PT I stood on my tiptoes without holding onto anything, which may not seem like a big deal, but after breaking my tibia, fibula, and knee joint, and severely spraining and dislocating my ankle just 15 weeks ago, it was a huge accomplishment!!

In 2019, I was encouraged to apply to BGSU for my PhD and I’m so glad I did! Today I presented my dissertation research and officially became Dr. Cigic! Thank you to all my advisors, committee members, friends, colleagues, and family! ♥️ Next up is graduation!
