cPTSD isn’t from one traumatic moment that tipped a person over to an unhealthy place. It’s the lack of a foundation and resources that could sustain a person living with the constant unknowns of new trauma.

in so much nerve(?) pain, haven’t slept in days, now searching reviews on nearby emergency rooms to decide whether or not to go & try to choose one that won’t fuck me, i love our healthcare system

loveless stabs my heart every time

best thing i’ve done for both my writing & my mental health is keep an “every day is all there is” journal. recording the small moments that build an entire life reminds me to cherish pastries, sunsets, birdsong, compliments from strangers, & even bad things because they do end

why does the machine in the hospital room beep loudly if your heart rate drops below 50 for an extended period of time and apple watch sends you alerts for the same thing (30s/40s is where i’ve been) but i ask a doctor and she says “meh it’s fine”

i’ve been terrible at this due to barely surviving my own shit & i hate that so much

I would like for this to mean that Sia has three different children that are all named Somersault. I know this is not the reality. but there is so much I don’t like about this reality. would you really begrudge me the chance to build a new one? A better one? with 3 somersaults?
