An evening of fellowship & prayer as Manchester Chapter met at St Michael's Alkrington for Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament and Benediction. Good to be together in the stillness as we were held in Christ's gaze. Thanks to @JenniBeaumont & Jane Hyde for tneir hospitality.

Beautiful Chrism Mass Manchester Cathedral followed by a meal with Manchester Chapter of SCP and folk interested in joining us. Wonderful to be together near the start of this Holy Week.

Huge congratulations to our member @RevRachelMann on her appointment as Archdeacon of Bolton and Salford!. Such fantastic news! Our love and prayers are with you Rachel, as you prepare for this new ministry.

Art exhibition to open at Oldham church this weekend dlvr.it/Svl7p8

The jeremy thomas-artist exhibition, The Human one is open today at St Anne's Royton from 10am-4pm and tomorrow from 1pm--5pm. We are also open as part of Heritage Open Days so come and see this early 20th century Temple Moore church with Arthur Dooley's Dachau and unique Stations.

Good to be gathered in worship yesterday evening and renew our commitment to SCP for another year last night at St Anne's Royton as we viewed jeremy thomas-artist The Human One exhibition. We were so absorbed in the art we forgot to take a picture!

Manchester chapter enjoyed a day together at CR Mirfield yesterday. We learnt about Madeleine Delbrêl & this picture prompted much reflection on contemplation, relationship, active listening and the nature of God. We joined the community in prayer &enjoyed the peace of the place

Manchester SCP & guests met after the Chrism Mass this morning for lunch. We offered good wishes to 2 members in their retirement & assured them of our prayers. Always good to gathered as priests in tne doocese then to share felllowship & food at the start of Holy Week.
