So LDS missionaries would still be one of the teensy tiny group of athletes who could get waivers (along with military service or having a baby) but I wonder if this would make the roster math of accepting missionaries even harder for anybody who isnt BYU?

The Hurd will still be great, but it won't be the same. Everywhere has baseline student seating. That sideline section the Hurd had got in players' heads and was one of the best, most underrated (not under appreciated by me) weapons out west. Money wins out on this one.
