وجود تضيقات في حالات القولون التقرحي تسبب انسداد في الأمعاء تكون من مستدعيات الاستئصال الجراحي The presence of strictures in cases of ulcerative colitis causes intestinal obstruction, which requires surgical resection.

في بعض حالات الانسداد المعوي نتيجة وجود التصاقات من العمليات السابقة قد نضطر لاستئصال جزء من الأمعاء In some cases of intestinal obstruction due to adhesions from previous operations, we may have to resect part of the affected bowel
