The Makerspace Club challenge today was to build the tallest free standing snowman out of consumable materials. The students planned out their designs with their groups and created masterpieces! ⛄️

This week the Makerspace Club members explored the science of coding and programming ! Students used critical thinking skills to create a maze and program Colby to get to his cheese. 🧀

Students in the Makerspace Club participated in the Paper Chain Challenge! They were only given one sheet of paper, one yard of a tape, and a pair of scissors to collaboratively create the longest chain. Then, we measured them & reflected on how we could improve for next time.

Celebrating Read Across America Week by working in teams to help our “Cat in the Hat” balance different items. We had a blast! #ReadAcrossAmerica2023 #STEAM

Today the Makerspace club members put on their engineering hats and took on the task of crafting a structure to support a cauldron. #engineer #makerspace

This month, our club members crafted Mayflower foil boats, tested their capacity, and showcased creativity with task card clay sculptures. Special thanks to Cynthia Deily for connecting us with fantastic NJHS volunteers. Huge appreciation to Annabella and Charlotte for their help!
