Working in teams to plan for the “Pumpkin Stand” challenge for our next meeting! Can we make a stand out of consumable materials to hold a pumpkin that is a least 1 foot off the ground? We can’t wait to use our creativity to take on this challenge! 🎃 #makerspace #STEAM

Students in the Makerspace Club participated in the Paper Chain Challenge! They were only given one sheet of paper, one yard of a tape, and a pair of scissors to collaboratively create the longest chain. Then, we measured them & reflected on how we could improve for next time.

This month, our club members crafted Mayflower foil boats, tested their capacity, and showcased creativity with task card clay sculptures. Special thanks to Cynthia Deily for connecting us with fantastic NJHS volunteers. Huge appreciation to Annabella and Charlotte for their help!
