For our next video, we hear from Albany Funerals, who were one of the first businesses in the Maidstone area to be awarded the WTBDF recognition symbol. Owner Jo talks in the video below about why they made the decision to become dementia friendly. #DementiaActionWeek2021

The final video for #DementiaActionWeek is from our Chair, Amy Turner-Ives. Amy rounds up the week discussing types of organisations that can apply for the symbol, Dementia Friends Sessions and the Training2careUKltd Virtual Dementia Tour that’s returning to #Maidstone in October.
In addition to our stall, @FremlinWalk have also given us a unit to hold a Dementia Friends Session, which lasts about 45 mins to an hour. It’s informal, interactive and involves learning more about dementia and the small ways you can help make our society more dementia friendly.
