South Africa institutes proceedings against the State of Israel before the International Court of Justice under the Genocide Convention and requests provisional measures

Next week the International Court of Justice will hear South Africa's case indicting Israel for its genocidal assault on Gaza. I have written to the Prime Minister, urging him to publicly support this case and to immediately end Britain's complicity in this atrocity:

We conducted a poll with @survation on the political views of British Muslims since Israel’s latest aggression on Gaza began. The results send a clear message: Muslims have lost trust in the Labour Party because of their support for genocide.

The trend of support has been ongoing for many years, but what is clear is that the ongoing assault on Gaza has had a serious impact on how British Muslims are intending to vote. Support for a #CeasefireNow and unilateral recognition of Palestine is more important than ever!
