A short story of #NYC: 96th st. subway, escalator down. Scooter bro + scooter on it. Guy on crutches in front of him, struggling to get off the escalator. #Scooterbro rams him, causing a bottleneck & likely injury to the man. When I ask "are you serious," he says "it wasn't me."

Strongarmed into buying an #omny card, I discover that 1. It often doesn't work, 2. There is no way to see how much is left on it or if you've been charged more than once, 3. if a transfer has worked, etc., unless you open an account with them. How is this legal? #nyc #brokencity
