Now I’m hearing that the students unions are still going to Utrecht and that the municipality will facilitate the protest. This is after our busses from Groningen were cancelled and uni staff all over the country made other plans. Classic divide and conquer.

🚨 Staff and students University of Groningen Young Academy Groningen, if you’re not going to Utrecht after the shambolic decisions yesterday by the mayor and unions, make sure you come to Groningen Grote Markt at 13:00 to make our local demo a huge success 💪

There will be a demo at Moreelsepark at 13:00. This is not organized by labor unions or WOinActie. However, a coalition of organizations including student unions is involved. To the best of my knowledge, upon negotiations, the mayor agreed that the demo will be facilitated.
