Gentle reminder that most disabled people can’t leave the US. Countries don’t want to take in disabled, chronically ill & “high cost health users”. There are serious financial barriers to moving - leaving most people behind Spare a thought for them tonight - people are scared.

I hate to say this, but disabled people warned you over and over and over again that there is always a wave of right-wing extremism and eugenics with a pandemic. When we said don’t fall victim to it and leave sick people behind, this is what we were warning you about.

How do y’all expect to be successful at community and collective care when you couldn’t even wear a damn mask to keep disabled and sick people from dying en masse? 🤨

Hey a great way to start organzing and protect your community is to wear an N95 or better as were in a "quademic." No one is saving you if you become disabled. Community organizing regularly leaves disabled people for dead. Actively pursue anti-ableist organaizing.

2026 is the first year that I will get most of my income from my art and I think that is pretty neat.

I got so excited about being able to make 100% of my income from art this year and then the provincial government turns around and guts arts funding. I hate it here.
