Then Air Canada said the only flight home was one week later. Today. Today, #aircanada cancelled our last leg of the flight home. The options they proposed were waiting days more in #nce — missing more work/school — other packing up our child and two babies and waiting in Vienna

…or waiting days in Toronto, with no guarantee of any coverage for hotels, meals, basic necessities of life (I repeat, I am travelling with two infants). Anyone at Air Canada care? We chose the final option. We’re about to leave with no plan to get home. #aircanada #cdnpoli

To make matters worse Air France customer service was truly dégoûtant — I experienced three employees, all men, laughing at me when I pleaded to be allowed to bring my double stroller with me… a practice literally every other airline I have flown with ever has allowed #airtravel

Then Air France employee “helping” us became abrasive/confused/unsure of policies & sent all our bags to Paris where we have to get bags, go through security, recheck bags Oh, and we paid 85€ per bag… & we might have to pay Air Canada AGAIN in Paris All because of #aircanada

Travelling with babies is hard (pics of us delayed in #nce now for reference). We do it because we love our EU grandparents/family. But, the appalling lack of care from @aircanada thus far is NOT OK. This should not just be “how it is.” Do better, please. #aircanada #cdnpoli

Well, after countless exchanges with Air Canada the airline’s solution was to hang up on me. I was calm and asked for a solution. So the #aircanada “plan” is to send us to Toronto with a connecting flight home 3 days away (Tues) & no compensation. Just appalling and terrible.
