Our distance boys don’t get tired! Both Brandon Williams and Jonah Heckenberg BOTH hit the National A Standard in the Men’s 1000m. They ran 2:29.56 and 2:30.11 respectively 🎟️✅🔶🔷

🚨CHAMPIONS!!🚨 D,Artagnon Beaver, Andrew Miller, Jonah Heckenberg and Brandon Williams came together to win the Gold in the Men’s 4x800m in a time of 7:49.75!! The demolished the school record and also hit the National Qualifying Time 🎟️✅🔷🔶

After a BRILLIANT finish in a tight race from Jonah Heckenberg, the Men’s DMR will be taking home the Gold Medal! Ethan Varvelo, Jaden Loveless and Andrew Miller will join Jonah on the top of the podium 🥇🔷🔶

After a battle that went all the way to the very last event, the Men’s Team finish third with 110 points!! Our first time one the podium in 7 years! #StatesmenStrong ✅🔷🔶

🚨DRAKE RELAY CHAMPIONS🚨 The DMR comprising of Jonah Heckenberg, Jaden Loveless, Brandon Williams and D’Artagnon Beaver took home the win in the DMR Iowa College Division at Drake Relays! Their winning time was a 10:12.53 which also SHATTERED the previous school record!

🚨NATIONAL QUALIFIER ALERT🚨 An absolutely thrilling race in the Men’s 4x800m went all the way to the wire. Our men’s team comprised of Andrew Miller, Jonah Heckenberg, D’Artagnon Beaver and Brandon Williams ran 7:43.70 to get 2nd place, just .01 off of a second from first!

The Men’s 800m crew went to WORK!! Freshman Andrew Miller and Junior Ethan Varvelo run 1:57.46 and 1:57.84 respectively. Both lifetime bests! Senior Jonah Heckenberg ran 1:54.10 Junior Brandon Williams punches his ticket to the National Championships with a 1:51.88🔷🔶🎟️🚨
