Just supported Alice R Fraser 's new book about #D'AnceyLaGuarde as I know someone who will bloody love it. (That person is not me but I'll like it too). If you like comedy and romance novels, I suggest you check it out on @unbounders

Caught up with #QueensThatChangedTheWorld on Channel 4 News and so wonderful to hear the voices of so many great historians, especially as they aren't the famous names we see all the time on TV. Not choosing favourites but delighted that the wonderful Dr Estelle Paranque is on screen.

If you are at Edinburgh Festival Fringe I heartily recommend Alice R Fraser 's funny and thoughtful show. Went last night and still chuckling at some of the jokes.

I have seen @paulsinha 's shows on and off for over 15 years of Edinburgh Festival Fringe , always enjoyed them and last night's was no exception. Still funny, surprising and with some excellently written jokes even for those of us who've never seen the chase.

Hadn't seen James Nokise live before but certainly wasn't disappointed. A friendly, likeable presence who keeps the jokes coming even when parts of the story he's telling get dark. A funny show, well worth an hour of your time if you're Edinburgh Festival Fringe

Just back from #TheEdit with Laura Davis & James Nokise The Stand. Wonderful first night: crowd up for it, acts able to enjoy themselves & try new stuff. Discovered new acts & able to introduce friends to the wonderful Josie Long & Eleanor Morton ($8) heartily recommend!

Short film by BBC Scotland about my ongoing attempts to redefine the meaning of Dundee United in Nigeria. We can do it, even if it means winning over one Nigerian at a time bbc.co.uk/sport/av/footb…
