Mike Harvey John Swinney Jenny Gilruth Kate Forbes MSP Natalie Don-Innes MSP When watching the debate my daughter said “why did they listen to all the train stuff and then when it came to talking about young people everyone got up and left!” (Out of mouth of an 11 year old!)

A clear, inciteful and balanced piece by Lesley Riddoch in The National today, supporting Liz Smith CBE MSP's Residential Bill, meanwhile Natalie Don-Innes MSP refuses to publish financial memorandum. Full text at drive.google.com/file/d/1W_2IsP… Without action, this bill will fall on Sept 26th!

.John Swinney it is your Government's democratic obligation to accept the will of Parliament.

Without action from Natalie Don-Innes MSP 13 days from now Liz Smith CBE MSP 's bill making a residential an entitlement for all falls. There is no recourse, game over. If you think this is wrong, go to residentialbill.scot Download a letter, write to Natalie Don, email your MSP etc. Do it now!

The SNP look to be running down the clock to kill Liz Smith CBE MSP's Bill on outdoor education. This would be the first time in devolution a government blocked a Bill backed by Parliament. A dangerous contempt for democracy.

Last time all together reflecting on our amazing time Blairvadach Outdoor Education Centre - Glasgow. What an amazing experience we've had! #outdooradventure #SandwoodBV25

Just 12 days till Scottish Government supports or thwarts the will of Scottish Parliament over a week’s outdoor education for all Scots kids. Technical measure for Private Member’s Bill to progress not forthcoming from Scotgov. Why - surely MSPs should decide? thenational.scot/politics/25458…

I'm pleased that the government has laid a financial resolution for Liz Smith CBE MSP's Outdoor Education Bill. As the Bill progresses, the needs of pupils with ASN must be taken into consideration and I hope the Minister will take that commitment seriously.

Outdoor learning positively impacts pupils’ wellbeing and development. Minister Natalie Don-Innes MSP confirms @ScotGov will back the Schools (Residential Outdoor Education) (Scotland) Bill with a financial resolution, allowing it to make progress in Scottish Parliament. ➡️bit.ly/42JpBDx

Excellent coverage today in the news today of Liz Smith CBE MSP outdoor education proposals. It shouldn’t have taken such embarrassing pressure on the Scottish Government to allow the Bill to progress to stage 2, as per parliament’s will.. I will follow its progress carefully.

Delighted for Liz Smith CBE MSP that the Scottish Government have finally seen sense and will not block her Outdoor Education Bill. Liz shows the real difference an individual MSP can make when they stand up and fight for what they believe in.
