Thank you Suzanne Bonamici Rep. Bobby Scott and Ed Markey for introducing the Equal Remedies Act of 2024, eliminating damage caps for employment discrimination in civil rights cases, and allowing those who experience age discrimination to pursue compensatory and punitive damages.
A clear majority of U.S. adults (84%) believe victims of discrimination deserve to be fully compensated by their employer for the harm they experienced. Ending damage cap limits would accomplish this! Important polling by National Women's Law Center nwlc.org/resource/major…
