back to twitter soon with a new primitive β€” here are some scribbles in a WIP prototype. Q: what if *people* were part of expressions? What if, as simply as spreadsheet formulas, you could select people and gather/evaluate/aggregate social inputs to organise data and yourselves?

BD is full dark patterns (like tech is); if we actually want to change systems we gotta change the businesses that build, use, govern, and operate with that tech. Those new business patterns aren’t going to develop themselves. Otherwise it’s just business as usual. #tryingtocare

I suspect the audience deserves more recognition for their stamina. That being said, it was a real pleasure to riff with Kyle | bestape - βš–οΈ/acc @Zuitzerland πŸ–– on all things governance, constitutional, institutional and more. Thanks to ZuVillage for hosting!! (h/t mZ -- Planeswalker (🌊)(🌱)(πŸ”₯) for the dumpster fire analogy!)

.CommonAccord has been pushing for a software-like (including Git/Hub) model of parametric legal prose for years. Frankly, feels inevitable but it’s always seemed to me that established players stand lose too much to support adopting and helping to mature this open source β€œcode”

A thing I think is a bit of an underrated bummer is that as algorithms replaced critics as the curatorial discernment mechanism, an entire generation lost out on *an explicit grammar for what to look for* in order to assess quality, especially within a less-familiar medium.

Some of my bios have variants of β€œplaneswalkerπŸ’§πŸŒ³πŸ”₯” ~ it comes from a long running conversation with my friend Natalia Dashan about identifying our epistemic proclivities and how they relate to our relationships with ourselves and others. So I loved this open.spotify.com/episode/4jXlEW…

I’m inclined to suggest (non)Ergodicity. It’s the concept which most directly illuminates the structural aspects of the VC-portfolio company relationship. It also maps up to the LP-GP relationship pretty well. Portfolio theory relies heavily on the concept of ergodicity.

I've recently become more interested in US political history and how the constitution setup a framework within which the next 250 years have evolved. This is my conversation with Eric Alston, faculty director at CU Boulder and researcher in the Comparative Constitutions
