From yesterday. Focus wall on the left, R.A.C.E. writing strategy in the middle, some prefixes next to that, & the pyramid is the Habits of Mind & Interaction that we’re required to display for math. Also have some multiplication rhymes & class rules up there.

Another view from yesterday. I like watching the tree out the window change with the seasons. I’m not a fan of the orange curtains, though.

One more doctor appt. tomorrow (but at a decent morning time, not at the crack of dawn). Contemplating which coffee place I want to hit up afterwards for a treat (a chai, a frozen hot chocolate, or something else non-coffeeish).

My reward for surviving another doctor’s appt b4 the school year starts: chocolatey-caramel goodness in a cup! Actually, the appt was easy… but waiting 25 min. in the exam room for the doctor to show up was irritating. So I needed a reward. LOL!

Woohoo! Laminating the last unit (as far as I know) for the new curriculum. One entire year’s worth will be complete as of today!

Guess I know what I’ll be doing for a little while. It’s time to ditch every sweater I own. (They’ll get donated tomorrow.) I can deal w/ long-sleeved shirts if they’re a super light material, but sweaters are a different story. Think “incinerated alive.” Thanks, perimenopause.
