truly I do NOT understand why you would define being a lesbian exclusively by the gender of the people you fuck.

while we are in this realm, bisexual people who identify with lesbianism can identify as bisexual and lesbian. Why? Because why not lmao that’s THEIR identity and it doesn’t threaten anyone else’s lesbianism.

one of the most harmful things in my queer journey was the idea that I had to “prove” my queerness through sex. this exact idea is why I stayed in a sexually abusive lesbian relationship, because at least it was lesbian. no one’s identity should be invalidated by who they fuck.
