Everyone agrees that the drop in NAEP reading scores is a call to action, but there’s no agreement on what action to take. I say, kids need to read more.

I’m not a big fan of kids on screens, but the one analysis I wonder about is the devices used in ELA. I think remedial kids are more likely to be placed on devices...which might explain the negative correlation???

Great memories here of Danny Plater's abilities. He came in as a recruit with sprinter speed, great hands and a lovable personality. He had trials in life but the core of his being stayed the same. Ranked No. 1 in time hanging around the Cougar program. RIP.
