A visit to the beautiful war cemetery of Souda Bay, a 14 minute drive from Chania a couple of weeks ago while on holiday in Crete. 750 identified burials including 19 from the first world war and 776 unidentified burials from the second world war. Lest we forget.

Lance Corporal M.A.W. Malcolm, 26, and Private G.E.Le Provost, 24, both of the Dorsetshire Rgt were buried at the Mtarfa Military Cemetery, Malta on 12th July 1940. Both died due to burns received due to enemy action over Malta. Lest we forget.
