My first two in one day! Earlier I found a Shiny Male Frillish at 3032 encounters for my DTQ, and then phased with a Shiny Sandile ending my first phase for Darumaka and Sigilyph at 3418 encounters! Two wonderful shinies.

My wife and I have decided to part ways, after a few weeks of sorting through emotions and navigating what the future holds. I will probably be shiny hunting more as both a way to cope and to fill my time. Currently over odds for Darumaka/Sigilyph, hope to get them both quickly.

I know I’m not the most active here, and I’m still working on set ups for the special events throughout the year, but I really love the Shiny Hunting community and that I get to be a part of it. Pokémon has been a big part of my life since I was a child, and I’m glad it still is.

I'm really torn between wanting to have friends who also shiny hunt to hang out with, and also being too shy and scared of new people to try. 😵‍💫 Will probably just stick to shiny hunting while watching streams

Shiny Illumise in the Friend Safari! I didn’t count the encounters but this took a while, I never really liked Illumise but Tales of Taylor 🐧 LEGENDS Z-A PRO made realize how much I love its shiny.

It’s hard to believe it’s been several months, I’ve missed the community. I’ve been putting my life back together, while lurking in the community. I’m hoping to get more shiny hunting done, and make more of a comeback in the coming months.

A really, really tough year. 339,032 total encounters 24 shinies 14,730 average for 1/8,192 hunts Two new longest hunts at 77,700 and 66,512 which were side by side... Still, some amazing progress for my Gen 3 Shiny Living Dex. Hoping for some better luck in 2026 ✨️ 🤞
