Sterling is one of the most important players in this England set up and "should" be one of the lead stories. He also should not have needed to be that important and productive for England for people to realise they should probably apologise for a bunch of preconceptions

When I see Raheem Sterling playing this beautifully, it reminds me how weird, pointless and cruel it was that he was targeted by the press and for years on end. Just let people play, for God’s sake. Look how much more fun this is.

This sums up the joy that Saka and the England squad have given me. Rewatching it every day till the final.
