#Bears halftime thoughts: -Very fortunate to not be down more than they are. -Disappointing day for pass catchers not named Rome Odunze. Unacceptable drops. -Once again, offense will need to score a decent amount to win this 2nd half.

#Bears postgame thoughts: -No execution whatsoever. Some terrible drops and missed tackles defined the game. -Arguably Ben Johnson’s worst game calling plays. Just some real head scratchers in big moments. -I’m afraid of this defense having to play the elite offenses soon.

These thoughts remain the same, but man there’s something special about Caleb Williams and Ben Johnson. This isn’t the Bears of old.

#Bears halftime thoughts: -Defense has been opportunistic and offense has been lackluster outside of that one drive. -Please keep feeding Kyle Monangai. -Go score a TD to open the 2nd half and make JJ win the game from down 14.

Caleb’s got a little Aaron Rodgers to him, and I absolutely love it. Not afraid to hold his guys responsible. Such a refreshing thing to see compared to the QBs of #Bears past. QB needs to be the ultimate leader of the team.

This is a huge drive upcoming in determining whether the #Bears can be a playoff team this season. Can you put this game away early, or are you going to give the Vikings another chance? Guess we shall see.

#Bears postgame thoughts: -Division wins are hard to come by. Never apologize for an ugly win. -Offense wasn’t up to standard today. But, they won the turnover battle and dominated T.O.P., which was crucial. -Caleb looked absolutely pissed to win that way. And I LOVE it.

My biggest takeaway from the past three #Bears games: Colston Loveland is legit. Has easily been the most reliable weapon on offense, making MASSIVE plays when given opportunities. Also been very good in the run game. He’s still just scratching the surface of his potential.

#Bears halftime thoughts: -Gonna need a miracle turnover or something crazy to win this game. Defense just doesn’t have enough bodies to get it done. -The two TDs cover up a pretty bad 1st half from Caleb Williams. -Let’s see what magic Ben Johnson has up his sleeve.

#Bears postgame thoughts: -Can’t say enough about this coaching staff and their ability to adjust. So impressive. -The offense needs to close out games better, way too conservative with a lead. -Montez Sweat deserves some praise, he’s been terrific the last 6 weeks. BEAST

#Bears postgame thoughts: -What are the haters gonna say now? Absolutely manhandled one of the most physical teams in the league. -Ryan Poles deserves a lot more credit than anyone initially thought coming into the season. -This team believes and proved they can beat anyone.

#Bears halftime thoughts: -Ben Johnson is losing the battle vs. Jeff Hafley so far. Hasn’t really had an answer for the GB defensive front. -Packers are bringing the fight to the Bears, definitely losing the physicality battle. -Just not looking up to the challenge so far.

You can’t win every game on the last drive, and I think it’s important that the #Bears learned that lesson today. it takes 4 quarters of good football to beat serious contenders. Ben Johnson is legit and this team has insane potential once they learn to play complete games.

#Bears halftime thoughts: -One of Caleb’s better halves IMO. Accurate and letting his receivers run in space. -Defense doing their job thus far. Would love to see a complete game from that unit. -Catch the ball and stay on your feet.

#Bears postgame thoughts: -Finally a blowout for this team. Took care of business, plain and simple. -Still too sloppy on offense, this game lingered on longer than it ever had to. -It’s incredible how good this defense is at forcing takeaways in so many different ways.

Luke Brost (@luke_brost) 's Twitter Profile Photo

#Bears halftime thoughts: -Soft zone defense isn’t getting the job done. Especially when this D-line gets zero pressure. -Ben Johnson needs to stick to what works. Plain and simple. Can’t get cute in this type of game. -We’ll see if this team can take over the 2nd half again.

#Bears halftime thoughts -I was apprehensive to have any confidence in this team against their arch rivals. No matter the year, the moment always seems too big. I’ve been proven right so far once again. -Not a single player has stepped up, and I don’t anticipate it changing.

#Bears postgame thoughts -This team is pure magic. I apologize for everything I said ever. -Caleb Williams is going to bring a Super Bowl home to Chicago, I am certain of it. -Holy crap what a huge win for the trajectory of this franchise. -Lets gooooooo

Luke Brost (@luke_brost) 's Twitter Profile Photo

#Bears postgame thoughts: -Caleb will bring a Super Bowl to Chicago one day, but his receivers let him down today in the biggest games of their careers to this point. -I hope that was DJ Moore’s last snap as a Bear. Unforgivable effort. -Ben Johnson is very bad on 4th downs.

Luke Brost (@luke_brost) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Ben Johnson is a great coach and I’m glad the #Bears have him. I hope he learns from this year’s playoffs and improves his short yardage and 4th down playcalling. You have the QB. The ball needs to be in his hands on those plays. And you have to know when to take the points.
