Excellent send off to the Arctic Weather Satellite yesterday in OHB Sweden. I felt very proud of our AAC Clyde Space payload team in Gothenburg and avionics team in Uppsala for their key contributions to this great European mission. European Space Agency EUMETSAT

15 years ago, a 300kg EO satellite with a 0.5Gbit/s downlink would be cutting edge. Now we are talking 10 Gbit/s in a 30kg satellite, with a specific energy per Gbit transmitted 80x lower! Clouds are a bit of a limitation, but this will revolutionise EO missions data downlink.
