This beautiful relief sculpture can be found above the door of the former Queen's Assembly Rooms on La Belle Place in the West End of Glasgow. It features the 5-stringed lyre of Linus of Thrace, who is credited as the inventor of melody, rhythm and lyric song. Cont./ #glasgow
