GWR Could you tell me why your prices for early morning trains from Chippenham to Paddington have tripled recently, now matter how far in advance you book? #GWR

My #GWR train fare to London is £146. From next stop along (10 mins away) it’s £60. CRAZY. It’s at least 50% cheaper for me to drive and park in London.

I reg. travel to London. I usually book a few days in advance & it costs £70 - £80 RTN. Recently that’s impossible. I’m trying to book for 31st Oct (2 wks away) & the advanced off peak is £146. I can drive to London & park 3 times for that price. #GWR #chippenham #fareincrease
