3/6 Tragically, the Ministry of Health directive of mandatory quarantine and isolation of people affected by COVID-19 has been poorly planned, uncoordinated and not guided by any guideline available to the public. #LockDownKenya

4/6 There has been recklessness in the way people have been handled or had to face exorbitant costs. Too many mandatory centres have exposed them to deplorable living conditions and a lack of information. #LockDownKenya

5/6 Those quarantined have a right to know what to expect in terms of the quality of the services provided, period, costs and for those serving them to have protective equipment. #LockDownKenya

6/6 The Ministry of Health is not adhering to its own guidelines. They must now provide and meet the cost of safe, clean and hygienic facilities, monitor the physical and mental health of those quarantined and promptly discharge those who test negative. #LockDownKenya
