Forgive the soppy post but… I’ve just realised that 10 years ago TODAY I was a University of York student running / presenting University Radio York’s show for the University of York Students' Union Election Results night. Today, I’m live with Kay Burley as a Correspondent on Sky News. Student media is bloody amazing.

The front page of tomorrow's The Daily Tar Heel – I shed many tears while typing up these heart-wrenching text messages sent and received by UNC students yesterday. Our campus was on lockdown for more than three hours. Beyond proud of this cover and the team behind it.
