I have some catching up to do on the #spinalcircuit for Back Up after a bug and office days so went all out first thing and did my furthest ever solo run today, just over 10k.. sadly, I think me and my trainers must now part ways. I’ve put it off for too long & my toes hurt

A seriously injured person in Northern Ireland who will need £100,000 per year to pay for care for the next 50 years would receive £7.47m. In England and Wales, they'd receive £5.326m, over £2m less. The discount rate in England and Wales is to be reviewed by 2024 at the latest.

Wow - thanks so much for sharing for Ben Townsend 🧡 Danny Turnbull was one of a kind - and we're so excited for the London to Paris ride in memory of him.

Breaking my usual rule on legal self-tweeting, the appeal in Belsner has been allowed, and on terms that may make it much harder for claims organisations to turn a profit from shaking-down solicitors. Link to judgment to follow.

Sean Linley - @costs.bsky.social Depressing that CPRC can move fairly quickly to help insurers, but other issues (like the supposed inability to recover interpreters' fees resulting from the absurd Cham v Aldred) remain stuck in "consultation"

I want to say I’m surprised at this… but sadly I’m not. In my view this is moving to fix a problem that simply is not there, because insurers say so
