From an LREI alum who currently works for the Census Bureau: The 2020 Census is underway and we need everyone in our LREI community to respond at 2020census.gov using their NYC addresses, even if you are temporarily or seasonally relocated.

As of today, our school neighborhoods lag behind most of the rest of NYC in responses.

The count determines the number of Representatives New York State will be apportioned in the US House of Representatives and what amount of the approximately 700 Billion dollars in Federal Funding our state will receive for each of the next TEN years.
