Wales was conquered by the English monarchy by 1283 after Llywelyn the Last was killed. By 1410 Owain Glyndwr’s β€œrebel” Welsh forces were defeated and the Penal Laws against Wales made the Welsh second class citizens. And yet, some turn a blind eye to celebrate the same monarchy.
