None of us were furloughed. We worked tirelessly to keep shelves full. This Govt needs to protect the committed dedicated and solid active food producers. They really are hitting the wrong ones and can help sort this out. #familyfarmtax

Sir Keir Starmer is asked why his popularity has nosedived faster than the BBC’s ratings. He claims he got into politics to “change the country”—the only thing he’s managed to change are his glasses and his wardrobe, courtesy of a £100K handout from Lord Ali Buy Buy! Could it

Once again the Defra Secretary shows he has absolutely no understanding of the rural economy. Big businesses buying up land will never have to pay Inheritance Tax but family farms might no longer be viable thanks to his callous plans.

The BBC News (UK) regurgitate Labour propaganda rather than the truth. They haven't reported that the Bank of England has admitted 2/3 of the gilt spike in 2022 was down to them. They haven't reported Labour plans to borrow far more than I did. How on earth can this be impartial?

Liz Truss (@trussliz) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Despite greater borrowing and higher gilt rates than in 2022 - the economic establishment is circling the wagons around Rachel Reeves because she shares their groupthink. Time for them all to go to save Britain's economy👇

The issue of APR on the family farm is continuation of the enterprise. The farm isn't inherited as a cash sum that makes someone rich, it's been bought out of taxed income, will incur tax if sold, let or earns. IHT is raising tax for holding an asset, hardly a fair arrangement.

... while shafting farmers, pensioners, small business owners and anyone else not sucking from the public sector teat. This budget is nothing but a Corbynista crowd-pleaser.

This woman advocated for people to vote labour (failed Lib Dem candidate) and now is complaining about the Labour Farm Tax. Bloody hypocrite!

Did you see dairy farmer Paul Tompkins (@southacrefarm) on @GBNews yesterday? He was highlighting the frustration many farmers are feeling after the government announced changes to Agricultural Property Relief in the #Budget.
